Couple killed in road mishap at Agra-Jaipur highway

A couple was crushed to death but their minor daughter survived with minor injuries in a road accident on Agra-Jaipur highway here, police said today.
The deceased have been identified as 35-year-old Vijay Dusad and his wife Preeti (35), police said.
They along with their one-and-a-half year old daughter were returning from Kanota town to Panipech area in the city after attending a birthday function when a speeding van hit the motorcycle they were travelling by from backside, they said.
"The couple died while their daughter survived," Assistant Commissioner of Police Shila Phogawat said today.
She informed that the girl survived the mishap and received minor injuries.

The driver of the van fled after the mishap and the vehicle was seized, she said, adding, that the bodies have been handed over to family members.
