Course on financial modelling

BSE Institute, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bombay Stock Exchange, and EduPristine have entered into a collaboration to offer a joint certification course on 'financial modelling' to cater to the growing demand for financial professionals in India.
Under the certification programme of 60 hours, a student will receive training on valuation modeling, merger and acquisition analysis, project finance modelling using toll road model, macros, advanced functions and charting and dash boarding techniques.
EduPristine is the leading training provider for international finance, accounting and analytics certification.
Students need to complete the course and take assessment to receive a certification of excellence, a statement said.

Over 2000 professionals and students are expected to be trained in this joint certification programme, it said.
Financial modelling professionals are in high demand in the industry today and according to an industry survey, the shortfall is around 50,000 in India.
People working in investment banking, equity research, private equity, project finance, business planning and strategy, etc. Require hands-on training in financial modelling and advanced excel skills to bridge this gap.
