Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Sita Ram has allowed the police request to destroy the seized skins in connection with Khatoli cow slaghtering case.
The court has directed the police that the execution to destroy the skins should be videographed within a week.
The court rejected the plea of the accused for releasing the seized skins as it was recovered from a godown and not from slaughtering house.
According to prosecutor R L Yadav, acting on tip off, police recovered 153 cattle skins, including 31 of buffaloes and 60 quintals of cow meat at Khatoli in the district on December 12, and arrested four persons, while five are absconding in this connection.
