Additional District Judge Vivekanand Saran Tripathi directed filing of a case against Sub Inspector Vinod Kumar, incharge of Krishna Nagar outpost, for allegedly refusing to file an FIR in the case.
"The court was apprised byInspector Kotwali, Sanjai Jaiswal that an FIR has been registered against Sub Inspector Vinod Kumar, under relevant sections of IPCand Posco Act," government counsel Ravinder Singh said.
According to the complainant, the accused police official refused to file the FIR when his daughter was physically assaulted by one Hasmat alias Bunti of Sukhadeo Nagar on April 3. She also alleged that Kumar demanded money from her for registering the case.
