Zakaria was produced before the court after expiry of his 10-day police custody and the special cell said he and two other arrested accused -- Mohd Basiruddin and Allauddin -- had revealed that they had facilitated infiltration of Pakistani and Bangladeshi terrorists in India through Indo-Bangladesh border on Tunda's instructions.
"All those terrorists were stationed at the hideouts... In West Bengal where they planned their further course of action regarding carrying out of bomb blasts in Delhi and adjoining states.
Chief metropolitan magistrate Amit Bansal allowed the plea and extended by four days the police custody of Zakaria.
Tunda, Allauddin and Basiruddin are already in police custody.
The police told the court that all these four accused were interrogated and confronted with each other during custody.
Zakaria, who was lodged in Presidency jail in Kolkata, was produced before CMM Bansal on September 16 in pursuance to a production warrant issued against him in connection with a case for allegedly helping Pakistani nationals in illegal infiltration into India through Bangladesh.
Detailing Zakaria's role, the police had said he had also helped some Pakistani nationals to infiltrate into India for carrying out various terror strikes which occurred in and around Delhi in 1998.
