An Ahmedabad court Tuesday issued summonses to six police officials for their alleged role in a clash with residents of Chharanagar area in July this year.
The court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Nasir Sidique summoned the police officials under Section 204 of the CrPC after noting that there was sufficient ground for proceedings against them, and that their act did not appear to be what can be called as done "in discharge of duty."
