BJP's Telangana unit president Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Tuesday urged Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to consider implementation of the Centres 'Ayushman Bharat' health scheme following the spread of the coronavirus.
In a tweet, he requested Rao to consider using the Secretariat building complex, which is vacant now, as an 'isolation centre' for COVID-19 patients in case the number goes up.
Kumar, BJP Lok Sabha member from Karimnagar, urged Rao in a letter to consider implementation of 'Ayushman Bharat' scheme for the benefit of poor people at a time when coronavirus is spreading, according to a BJP release.
The offices in the Secretariat buildings complex here have been shifted out to facilitate the construction of new buildings.
