According to Station House Officer Chaman Singh Chawda, Rifkat, Intazar, Shehzad and Abid were arrested in cow slaughter case and sent to jail recently.
They were booked under Gangster Act by the police here yesterday.
This is the first case when those accused of cow slaughter have been booked under Gangster Act in the district.
The Uttar Pradesh government had on September 16 given its approval to slap Gangster and Goonda acts on those caught in cognisable offences like cow slaughter and human trafficking.
