"We have decided to accept the invitation of Congress party regarding joint campaign during Rahul Gandhi's visit. A senior party leader along with respective Left Front candidates will be present on the platform in all three meetings of Rahul Gandhi on April 2," CPI-M state secretariat member Shyamal Chakraborty told PTI.
According to senior Congress leaders, CPI-M leaders' sharing stage with Rahul Gandhi during poll campaign will send out a positive message in favour of the alliance which will enhance coordination at the grassroots level.
