CPI(ML) Liberation demands CBSE roll back exam fee hike

The Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation has criticised the Narendra Modi government over the steep hike in the class 10 and 12 board examination fees by the CBSE and demanded its roll back.

Citing the two-fold rise in fees for general category students and a 24 times hike for those belonging to the reserved SCs and STs, the party alleged that the move was a clear indication of the governments indication to "completely privatise education and employment."
