A resolution to this effect was adopted at the two-day state level conference of the party which concluded yesterday.
Another resolution alleged that the five year rule by the AINRC in Puducherry was marked by 'corruption, repressive measures and autocratic approach by the government.'
The conference also called for an effective legislation to curb honour killings throughout the country.
The conference elected unanimously a new committee for the Puducherry State unit of the party comprising the State secretary S Balasubramanian, K Palani, S Motilal among others.
