"There is no justification for murder in politics. All parties should agree to this. This is especially so for the Left parties," CPI state secretary Panniyan Raveendran told reporters here, adding, issue would be raised in the LDF panel when it meets next time.
Manoj, a district office bearer of RSS, was hacked to death allegedly by CPI(M) activists at Kathirur near Thalassery on September 1.
All of them are said to have connections with CPI(M).
The inquiry into the conspiracy behind the murder has been referred to the CBI with BJP and RSS pressed for such a probe.
Kannur has a long history of political violence involving CPI(M) and RSS-BJP and several lives have been lost on both sides over the last few decades.
