State CPI Secretary Prabodh Panda said that TMC should stop capturing municipalities by the "undemocratic" way of "terrorizing" opposition parties.
"We feel that only under the supervision of central forces that the elections can be held in a free and fair manner," Panda said.
He said the three municipalities where TMC had won unopposed was the classic example of how "terror tactics" could be used to win elections.
"This is not an election, but a farce. They are terrorizing Left candidates where there are high chances of TMC losing," Panda said.
