CPI wants all-party meeting on bauxite mining in AP

K Rama Krishna, secretary of Andhra Pradesh unit of CPI, today demanded that the state government convene an all-party meeting on the issue of bauxite mining.
The ruling TDP had said during the last general elections that all the mining leases issued by the previous Congress government would be scrapped, but the promise was not fulfilled, he said.
