Criminal held with arms and ammunition

A hardcore criminal was today arrested with a haul of arms and ammunition from a village under Sadar police station area in Bihar's Madhepura district, a police officer said.
Acting on a tip off, the police raided Mathahi village and arrested the criminal identified as Kunjeet Yadav, and seized a country-made rifle, three pistols and 15 cartridges from him, Sadar police station in-charge Manish Kumar said.
Yadav was wanted in six cases of murder, loot and dacoity at various police stations in Madhepura and neighbouring Supaul districts, he added.
