Darbhanga Sadar Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Dilnawaz Ahmad said notorious criminal Chandan Kumar Singh was arrested along with his accomplice Guddu Kumar from Sipaliya village within the jurisdiction of Sadar police station during raids.
A pistol of foreign make, two magazines and a dozen cartridges were recovered from Chandan Singh, Ahmad said.
Singh was wanted in a dozen cases of murder, loot, dacoity, rape and illegal possession of arms, the ASP said adding he was also wanted by the Darbhanga and Samastipur police for firing at and injuring a Sub-Inspector and a constable.
