The company had posted a net profit of Rs 70.79 crore in the October-December quarter of the last fiscal.
Consolidated total income during the quarter was up 18 per cent at Rs 385 crore, Crisil said in a statement.
For the full fiscal ending December 31, Crisil reported a 6 per cent growth in consolidated profit after tax at Rs 285.16 crore.
Consolidated total income for the fiscal grew 10 per cent to Rs 1,381.6 crore.
Crisil follows calendar year for accounting purposes.
"Global Research and Analytics business grew significantly driven by opportunities arising out of the challenging regulatory environment and our strong capabilities in the risk and analytics areas.
"India business continued to strengthen their position in a subdued operating environment," Crisil CEO and MD Ashu Suyash said.
