Crop Physiology, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), here has developed crop boosters to improve yield in pulses, sugarcane, cotton, maize and groundnut.
The department has to its credit of production and distribution of TNAU Coconut Tonic to the coconut growers in the State and also neighbouring States of Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh for the last eight years.
The department, following the tremendous success of Coconut Tonic, has come out with more boosters and ready for marketing and available through the year, a TNAU release said today.
The boosters are named as TNAU Pulse Wonder, TNAU Groundnut Rich, TNAU Cotton plus, TNAU Sugarcane Booster and TNAU Maize Maxim, all with nutrients and growth regulators, the release said.
