24-year old Gnanakumari was found lying unconscious soon after her husband Manojkumar left the house. She was rushed to the local government hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.
The cause of death would be known only after post-mortem, police said adding it was suspected that Manokumar could have smothered her to death with a pillow.
The CRPF constable had married Gnanakumari six years ago after falling in lover with her. The couple had two sons.
A case of suspicious death had been regsitered and Manojkumar detained by police.
