Haryana government today appointed IAS officer P K Chaudhery as its advisor, just a day after he retired from the post of state's Chief Secretary.

Chaudhary has been appointed as Advisor (Development and Governance Reforms) in the rank and status of Cabinet Minister to Haryana Government with effect from today, an official release said here.

In the past too, the Bhupinder Singh Hooda government has re-employed a number of officers who had attained superannuation.
