'Crux of Pakistan's case at ICJ based on Jadhav's confession'

Pakistan is likely to base its case at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) against India on the confession statement of Indian national Kulbhushan Jadhav, a media report said.
Pakistan and India are engaged in a legal battle at The Hague-based ICJ over the death sentence given to Jadhav by a military court here over his alleged involvement in sabotage and espionage activities inside Pakistan.
During today's hearing, India said Pakistan violated international laws by denying consular access to Jadhav. Pakistan will present its arguments later in the day.
Senior Pakistani government officials stated that the incarcerated Jadhav's confession is the "crux" of Islamabad's case, Geo News reported.

Pakistani legal experts are of the view that India's case at the global legal tribunal is weak.
