A Letter of Intent for the same was signed by Yoginder Singh Verma, Vice Chancellor of CUHP and Asa Bergenheim, Vice Chancellor of Karlstad University in the presence of faculty of both universities.
"The two institutions will work for building strong academic atmosphere by making academic visits, joint teaching programmes, joint research activities and publications, participation in seminars and academic meetings, exchange of academic materials and other information and exchange of students," Verma said.
Each institution will designate a liaison officer to develop and coordinate the activities.
They said that the proposed MoU will remain effective for a period of five years and any party can terminate it by giving twelve months advance notice in written, unless any earlier termination is mutually agreed upon.
