The company's net profit in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal was Rs 147.23 crore, Cummins India said in a filing to BSE.
Its total income from operations increased to Rs 1,083.09 crore, registering an increase of 5.8 per cent.
The total income from operations of the company in the same quarter of the last financial year was Rs 1023.01 crore.
The total expenses of the company went up to Rs 915.38 crore over Rs 838.76 crore in the October-December quarter of the previous fiscal.
