Cyber cafe raided in Ulhasnagar; 24 held for obscenity

A cyber cafe in Ulhasnagar here was raided and as many as 24 persons were arrested for allegedly indulging in obscene acts, police said today.
A raid was conducted last evening and 24 persons including 11 couples were found to be indulging in obscene acts. The couples, cafe owner Lallan Shah and manager Niranjan were nabbed, they said.
According to police, they had received complaints that illegal activities were running at a cyber cafe near Ulhasnagar railway station.
A case under section 294 has been registered in this connection and investigations are underway, they added.
