D P Singh to be new Howrah Police commissioner

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) D P Singh will now take over as the new police commissioner in Howrah Police Commissionerate, state secretariat sources said today.
Hooghly's SP Sunil Kumar Choudhury has been asked to take over as SP South 24 Parganas, sources said.
In a reshuffle earlier in the week, Choudhury was asked to take over as Howrah police commissioner and Singh was transferred to South 24 Parganas as superintendent of police.
In a fresh notification today, they have been assigned new postings.
