'Hookin2Hockey' would be an outreach programme aimed to give the children a flavor of one of the fastest and most competitive team sport in the world.
The partnership with Hockey Australia will also give the children an experience to learn nuances from some of the best in the sport today, a media release issued here said.
'Hookin2Hockey' will be a 6-day programme organised at Mahindra Hockey Stadium here from January 15-20 before the commencement of the fifth season of Hockey India League.
Experts from Hockey Australia including James Liggins, Participation Manager; Ben Hartung, General Manager, Operations will be driving these special sessions. Hockey Australia will be providing all the required equipment for the participants at the session, the release added.
