DAC to discuss DPP, blacklisting policy tommorow

Top officials of the Defence Ministry will meet here tomorrow to brainstorm on the new Defence Procurement Procedure (DPP).
The Defence Acquisistion Council, chaired by Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, will meet tomorrow evening and discuss a few pending capital acquisition proposals of the three services.
Another key subject which could come up for discussion is the issue of blacklisting of defence firms accused of corruption.
The last meeting of DAC was held on February 23 where the Minister had reviewed acquisition proposals cleared in the last two years.
