Dadoo repatriated to cadre; M K Singh new PS to R K Singh

Senior IAS officer J K Dadoo, who was serving as additional secretary in the Union commerce and industry ministry, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre, according to a government order today.
The competent authority has sanctioned the premature repatriation of Dadoo, a 1983-batch IAS of Union Territory cadre, to his parent cadre, it said.
Dadoo was serving as additional secretary and financial adviser, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
In a separate order, the government said Manoj Kumar Singh, a 2009-batch IAS officer from Bihar cadre, has been appointed as private secretary to R K Singh, the Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Power and New and Renewable Energy.

Singh has been appointed at the level of under secretary on co-terminus basis with effect from the date of assumption for a period of five years or until further orders whichever is earlier, it said.
