A Dalit engineering student was shot dead by unidentified bike-borne assailants at Raghan road here, the police said today.
Shabnam Gautam (19) was on way her home in Dara Nevada in Shivrajpur on her scooty when the bike-borne men chased her and shot her in the neck at a a close range yesterday, Station House Officer (Billhaur), Gyan Singh said.
The girl was taken to a hospital where she died during treatment.
