Rajkumar was arrested by police after one Arun lodged a police complaint against him alleging that he had stolen his gold earrings. Last night Rajkumar went to the bathroom in the police station and allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself.
The family members of Rajkumar today demanded a CBI probe and action against all the police officials present during the entire episode, accusing them of killing him.
In protest against the incident, family members and relatives of the deceased sat outside the hospital following which a clash broke out between them and the police after a woman threw bottle at DSP Kulwant Singh Bishnoi.
Post-mortem of the victim was conducted.
