The 38-year-old took the title of the leading stylish man at the 2013 GQ Men of the Year Awards that took place in Germany.
The retired soccer player attended the event wearing a dark suit, white shirt, and pencil tie, reported Us magazine.
"Like no other athlete, David Beckham represents style and fashion influence," Jose RedondoVega, editor-in-chief of GQ Germany, said of the 38-year-old at the event.
"With his trendsetting and sometimes daring appearances he has created a bridge between the world of design, models, and photographers, and the world of world-class sports, and brought glamour back to a male sport."
