The 39-year-old star will be honoured for his talent and sportsmanship, reported The People magazine.
Beckham, who was recently named Ambassador of United for Wildlife by Prince William, will receive the award for being a role model to young kids both on and off the field.
"He exemplifies the qualities every kid aspires to achieve and his name is the first that comes to mind when we think of his sport," the network said in a statement.
Pharrell Williams, Florida Georgia Line, Marshawn Lynch, Kevin Durant, Will Arnett, Megan Fox and many other athletes and celebrities are expected to join Beckham at the inaugural award show.
