The day temperatures rose marginally across Himachal Pradesh as the region had partially cloudy but dry day.
Una in Shiwalik foothills was hottest in the region with a high of 38.2 degrees Celsius, while Sundernagar and Nahan recorded the maximum temperatures at 34.7 degrees Celsius, and 30.2 degrees Celsius, followed by Bhuntar and Dharamsala 29.2 degrees Celsius, Solan 28 degrees Celsius, Shimla 25.6 degrees Celsius, Kalpa 21 degrees Celsius and Keylong 16.8 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperatures increased by 3 degrees Celsius and Keylong was wettest with a low of 5 degrees Celsius, followed by Kalpa and Manali 7 degrees Celsius, Bhuntar 13.4 degrees Celsius, Solan 14.2 degrees Celsius, Shimla 15.6 degrees Celsius, Palampur 16.5 degrees Celsius, Dharamsala 17.2 degrees Celsius and Una 19.5 degrees Celsius.
The local Meteorological office has forecast rains and thunderstorm in the mid hills and rains or snow in the higher hills for the next six days from May 16 to 22.
It further forecast rains and thunderstorm in the lower hills on May 16 and 17 and dry weather during the next four days.
