Private player DCB Bank today reported a marginal 3 per cent decline in standalone net profit at Rs 41.20 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2015-16.

The bank had net profit of Rs 42.5 crore in the third quarter of the 2014-15 fiscal.

Total income of the bank increased to Rs 477 crore during the third quarter of current fiscal, from Rs 404 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal, DCB Bank said in a filing to the BSE.

Gross non performing assets as a percentage of total advances increased to 1.98 per cent at the end of December quarter, from 1.87 per cent in the same period a year ago.

Interest income of the bank stood at Rs 430 crore during the third quarter of this fiscal, up from Rs 356 crore in the year ago period.

Shares of DCB Bank closed at Rs 75.10, down 1.18 per cent over previous close on the BSE.
