DD collaborates with Epic Channel for simulcast of new shows

National broadcaster Doordarshan has entered into a collaboration with 'Epic Channel' for sourcing high-quality software for simulcast of new TV shows.
This information was revealed in the Rajya Sabha by Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Rathore in a written reply to a question.
"Prasar Bharati has informed that Doordarshan has currently entered into collaboration with Epic Channel for sourcing high-quality software for simulcast of news shows or programmes," Rathore said.
He added that earlier similar arrangements were made with Star TV for 'Satyamev Jayate' and 'Saraswatichandra' and Zee TV for 'Ramayana' and 'Buddha'.
