DDA to hold yoga session on June 21

DDA will hold yoga sessions at all its sports complexes and Raahgiri centers in the city on June 21, to celebrate the first International Yoga Day.
According to senior DDA official, to create the requisite awareness regarding the importance of yoga, it will hold yoga session at all its sports complexes and at Raahgiri Centers at Dwarka, Rohini and East Delhi from 7.00 am to 7.35 am.
"At the sports complexes apart from members, any person can come and join for the yoga session. A system of registration at sports complexes will be followed and registration will commence at 6.30 am.

"This will be followed by actual yoga sessions from 7.00 am to 7.35 am, which is commensurate with the timings of yoga session being held at Rajpath by the Prime Minister," the DDA official said.
DDA is expecting large number of residents to gather at the sport complexes and join for the yoga session.
