Ratan Singh who worked as a dressing room caretaker was seen in the CCTV footage purportedly stealing an LED TV set from the match referee's room.
This matter was brought to the notice of Justice (Rtd) Vikramajit Sen, the court-appointed administrator of DDCA (Delhi and District Cricket Association).

A complaint was lodged at central Delhi's IP Estate police station yesterday and the CCTV footage was submitted to them.
Police had started the probe yesterday and were planning to summon Singh but were today informed that he died of a heart attack at his residence in Shahbad Dairy area of Rohini.
