Forest ranger D S Solanki said the field director Subranjan Sen and his deputy Kiran Bisen were on the way to the spot and an autopsy would reveal the exact cause of tiger's death.
It appeared that the animal, while chasing a prey, fell into the well which did not have a periphery wall, he said.
