Khalsa, who is on hunger strike since January 17 demanding release of Sikh detainees languishing in jails, said until his supporters are released nobody would talk to the representatives of the government.
While talking to media persons in his Civil Hospital room where he was admitted by the police last evening, he said he did not have any information about the release of his any of his followers.
He also said that he has not taken a sip of water since he was brought to the hospital last evening.
He confirmed that ADGP (Intelligence) Hardeep Singh Dhillon, CP Ludhiana Promod Ban and SSP Ludhiana rural police, district Ravcharn Singh Brar along with civil surgeon Ludhiana Renu Dhaliwal met him over the matter.
When contacted Commissioner Police Ludhiana Promod Ban said efforts are on to persuade Khalsa to act on the advice of doctors.
