Talking about the expectations from the Rail Budget, Hooda said that he had also demanded approval of Agroha-Fatehabad Rail line, Yamuna Nagar-Jagadhari-Chandigarh rail line, Mewat Rail line, Jind-Sonepat train via Gohana, Hisar-Hansi-Rohtak rail and EMU train between Delhi and Bahadurgarh from Union Minister.
He was speaking at a function organised on the occasion of birth anniversary of Guru Ravidas at Kalanaur today, according to an official release.
There was also a demand to run inter-city train between Jaipur-Rewari-Chandigarh and to shift the route of railway line which passes though Rohtak city as it should be outside the city.
