A KCHR release said here today that a six-member Chinese delegation, led by Deputy Director of the museum Feng Nai'en, will visit the Council tomorrow to explore the possibilities of partnership.
The Beijing-based Palace Museum has also expressed interest to collaborate in the Pattanam Archaeological research, undertaken by KCHR, it said.
Pattanam is a tiny village located near Kochi where the KCHR has been carrying out an excavation for some years tracing evidence for the existence of the ancient Muziris port.
The delegation will have discussion with KCHR chairman K N Panikkar and director P J Cherian regarding mutual research and other possible areas of collaboration, it added.
