Delegation meets Maha Governor on malnutrition in Palghar

A 20-member delegation of doctors, pediatricians and social workers from Palghar district, led by Vivek Pandit, founder of Samarthan and Shramajeevi Sanghatana, today met the Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao on the issue of malnutrition in the area.
The delegation presented a memorandum to the Governor and held a detailed discussion with him, an official release said.
The tribal-dominated district has witnessed several deaths of children due to malnutrition since April.
