Delhi govt to organise PTM for Class 12 students tomorrow

Buoyed by the response to the two mega parent teacher meetings conducted by the Delhi government in its schools, a similar meet is being organised tomorrow exclusively for parents of Class 12 students.
"Since the Class 12th Board examination are fast approaching, the Directorate of Education (DoE) has directed all schools to apprise the parents about their wards' progress," an official statement said.
"In the morning shift schools, the PTM will be from 8 AM onwards and in the evening shift schools from 5 PM onwards. Teachers will provide parents with student-specific guidance and counselling. It will also help in guiding the parents to provide their ward study and exam preparation, and a conducive environment at home," it added.

According to DoE officials, the class 12 PTM is being organised "in order to ease the examination pressure of parents as well as students and provide the best possible assistance to every student".
