Justice Siddharth Mridul allowed Badshami from Ladwa to visit his native place Kurukshetra.
The MLA is out on two-month interim bail granted to him on June 19 for undergoing a surgery for sinusitus. The court, while granting him bail, had directed that he will not leave the national capital without its permission.
Badshami had in his plea filed by advocate Amit Sahni told the court that after the surgical intervention, he was kept under intensive care and was discharged on July 15.
He also told the court that Badshami does not own any place of residence in Delhi and there is now no need for him to remain in Delhi as he is out on bail.
Badhsami was convicted and sentenced to ten years in jail in January by a CBI court for cheating and corruption in illegal recruitment of 3,206 junior basic trained (JBT) teachers in 1999-2000. His party's chief O P Chautala and his son Ajay Chautala were also given ten-year jail term.
