According to statistics released here, the accused were arrested within one week in 125 out of 138 rape cases, 369 out of 401 cases of molestation and 253 out of 283 cases of eve-teasing.
The figures were for a period between January one and March 15.
"The expeditious arrest of criminals in cases of rape, molestation and eve-teasing is expected to be a deterrent for criminals. It also shows that priority is being accorded by Delhi Police towards providing a secure and safe environment for women in the capital city," a statement said.
