Delhi sweats as mercury remains over 40 deg C

The national capital continued to sizzle under severe heat conditions with the maximum temperature settling down close to 43 degree Celsius today.
The day temperature was registered at 42.8 deg C, which was two degree above normal and marginally down from yesterday's 43 degree C.
Minimum temperature was recorded at 27.8 degree Celsius which was one notch above normal and 1.2 degree below from yesterday's 29 deg C.
Humidity remained between 17 and 53 per cent.
Weather department has predicted mainly clear sky for tomorrow. Maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 43 deg C and 27 deg C.
