A win tomorrow will the take the Waveriders to the top of the table along side defending champions Ranchi Rays with 21 points from five games.
The Waveriders are now placed second in the points table with 16 points with three wins out of four games.
Come tomorrow, the Waveriders will also look for a win to assert their supremacy over the UP Wizards in this edition of HIL. The Delhi outfit had earlier defeated UP Wizards 3-1 in Lucknow in their first face-to-face encounter earlier this month.
In the form of Rupinder Pal Singh, the Waveriders have potent dragflicker who is presently the second highest goal- scorer in the league with six strikes.
On the other half, after the win over Ranchi Rays in the tournament opener, the UP Wizards are on a three-match losing streak and have just seven points in their kitty. They are presently lying at the fifth spot in the six-team franchise based event.
But the visitors definitely would be looking the turn the tables tomorrow and return to winning ways.
"We are playing the fifth match here and it is the most important match to stay in the league as a good competitor. Our focus is on our own strengths and to avoid the mistakes that we have done in the previous matches. We will go all out and play to our strength and hope to get 5 points to take home," Raghunath said.
