Rumours started circulating that the couple were ready to tie the knot after Lovato instagramed a picture of herself where a ring on her engagement finger can be seen, reported Us magazine.
The 21-year-old singer posted the full length picture, where her ring is clearly visible, with a caption underneath reading, "So I don't think I've ever been happier in my life than this very moment that I am fully living in."
The photo and accompanying caption sent fans into a frenzy wondering if the 34-year-old actor had proposed.
The engagement was first speculated about in December after Valderrama was seen shopping for a ring for Demi at Tiffany and Co.
