"Cool for the Summer", slated to release on July 1, is the first single off Lovato's upcoming album, which has yet to have a title and release date,reported Aceshowbiz.
The song is co-written by hitmaker Savan Kotecha whom Lovato previously worked with on her 2014 single "Really Don't Care" featuring Cher Lloyd.
The 22-year-old former Disney star gave a ten-second sneak peek by sharing a brief clip on twitter.
