Develop deeper understanding of strategic issues: Lt Gen Singh

A senior army commander today emphasised on the need of developing a "deeper understanding of the strategic issues" and their implications in view of the emerging "threat dynamics" in the south Asia region.
"There is a need of developing a deeper understanding of the strategic issues and there implications, in view of the emerging threat dynamics in the region," Army Commander Western Command Lt Gen K J Singh said.
He was delivering the keynote lecture during the 'Gyan Chakra-Think Tank' conclave about the geo-political and military dimensions of emerging regional and new world order.
As part of the ongoing series of activities of the think tank, a study conclave on contemporary and futuristic issues concluded today.

Several eminent speakers deliberated upon various subjects of politico-military significance, impacting the region in general and our Armed Forces in particular.
